KIDZ CONNECTION FAQ’S

All about Family Pager Numbers

* What is Family Pager Numbers and how do I get one?

  • The “family pager number” serves as a way for us to reach you during service should your child  require your attention.  Your “family pager number” is written on you & your child’s wristband each week you attend & register your child for one of our Kidz Connection Programs.  The number is your assurance that only you can pick your child up from class.  Just present your matching wristband & pager # when picking your child up from class.   You can receive a “permanent” family pager number by filling out a Family Registration Form (download here)

All about Wristbands

* What are Wristbands for and how do I get one?

  • Color-coded wristbands are given to both the child, and adult who Registers them, to wear while attending the Kidz Connection ministry programs.  The wristbands are similar to those used at amusement parks and include your child’s name and family pager number.

All about Child Safety here at Kidz Connection

  • Kidz Connection provides a safe & secure environment for all children. We accomplish this through careful screening & training of volunteers. Each volunteer has a completed background check & personal references.
  • We utilize a simple & effective sign-in process for all children. Pager numbers are given to parents which coincide with numbers assigned to each child. These numbers are displayed on a digital display pad in the adult service. This enables us to contact parents immediately should a problem arise during the service & ensures the security of children during dismissal.
  • We adhere to NYS Childcare Health & Wellness Guidelines.

All about Child Dedication

  • At The Father’s House, Child Dedication gives parents the opportunity to introduce their children to the congregation as part of our church body and commit themselves to raise their children to love, honor & serve God. It also provides an opportunity to follow Jesus’ example in Mark 10:16, where “He took the children into his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them.” Child Dedication does not ensure or confirm a child’s salvation. Salvation is a personal decision he or she will make when developmentally & spiritually ready.

All about Water Baptism

  • Water Baptism is a very significant part of the Christian journey. At TFH, we believe that any adult or child above the age of seven who has accepted God’s gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ & repented from his or her sins, should be water baptized. Acts 2:38 says, “Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit .’”
  • In preparation for water baptism, we ask children attend an instructional classes held prior to the baptism service with their parents.
  • Check our on line calendar for the next Water Baptism date.
