The Story of The Father’s House

This stands as a powerful illustration of God’s faithfulness, provision and grace. Since 2002, God has taken our story and transformed it into a way of telling His story. We sensed God changing the character of the church to a House of worship, prayer and a place to belong for all people. The church steadily grew from just over a hundred people to thousands over the years.

A whole new world opened in 2005 when we started live streaming our services to an expansive online audience both in the USA and abroad. In 2008 we moved to our new building at 715 Paul Road. In 2009, we launched our Downtown Campus, now our Life Center; an expression of the heart of our church within the local community. Today it’s a place where people from all walks of life can find food, acceptance, and support. Many of our friends and neighbors live below the poverty line, are struggling to put food on their tables, or are simply going through a tough season. Our Food Pantry is a constant to hundreds of individuals and families.

We are building a house of faith that empowers people to live out the mission of Jesus

Our Lead Pastors

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, CJ and Khasi Cody relocated to Rochester nearly five years ago with their children in response to God’s call to serve as Family Pastors at The Father’s House. What began as an assignment became a deep love for the people and mission of this house.

Throughout their journey, they have faithfully served wherever needed—leading ministries, building teams, developing leaders, and helping strengthen the culture and vision of the church. Their willingness to remain available and obedient to God’s direction eventually led them to step into the role of Senior Pastors in May 2026.

CJ and Khasi are passionate about seeing people encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, and experience lasting transformation. Known for their authentic leadership, dynamic teaching, creative vision, and genuine love for people, they believe life change happens not only from the platform, but through meaningful relationships and everyday moments of connection. Together with their three children, they are committed to building a church where everyone can belong, grow, and flourish in Christ.
